Getting Started

Welcome to MeshSeen! This guide will help you get up and running in minutes.

Installation

1. Download MeshSeen from the download page for your operating system.
2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Launch MeshSeen from your Applications folder or Start Menu.

Indexing Your First Library

1. Click “Add Folder” in the sidebar.
2. Select the folder containing your 3D models (STL, OBJ, 3MF, STEP, etc.).
3. MeshSeen will scan the folder and build an index — your files are never moved or modified.
4. Wait for thumbnail generation to complete (runs in the background).

Browsing Models

• Use the grid view to browse thumbnails visually.
• Switch to list view for a compact overview with file details.
• Use the search bar to find models by name, size, or format.
